I have 34 years "hands-on" experience in steel wire ropemanufacturing,

starting as a stranding machine operator and with more than 25 years, as the cheif engineer at "Wire Rope Works Messilot Ltd."

​

1984 - 1990 - Machine operator in Wire Rope Works Messilot Ltd, first on small stranding machines, later on bigger stranding and closing machines. Real "hands-on" experience in the manufacturig processes of wire rope.

 

1990 - 1992 - Aprentice in the engineering department in Wire Rope Works Messilot Ltd while studying for my degree in mecanical engineering.

1993 - 2018 - Head of the enegineering department in Wire Rope Works Messilot Ltd. this includes:

• Design of different wire ropes, issuing thecnical specifications for procurement, manufacturing, testing & verification.

• Developement of new products or processes. Issuing specifications for necessary equipment and searching for potential suppliers.

• Installation and assimilation of new machines and equipment. writing working instructions and procedures.

• Engineering support to the maintenence department.

• Consulting customers, reviewing contracts, investigating customer complaints and non-conformance incidents.

• design, production, implementation of different devices and machines for the production floor. Including hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC's, DC & AC drives.
